Corthex AI adds the standard Corthex chat widget to WordPress without theme changes. WooCommerce is optional: connect it when you also need product answers, cart assistance and signed-in own-order support.

01 / The idea

Why WordPress?

Publish a branded assistant on your site and manage its knowledge and conversations centrally.

How the connection works

Download and activate Corthex AI, enter your Bot ID in the Corthex menu, enable chat and save. A Corthex service account is required; WooCommerce is not.

02 / Get started

Connect step by step.

    Create an assistant in Corthex and copy its Bot ID.

  2. 02

    Download the Corthex AI plugin ZIP; no login is required to download it.

  3. 03

    In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, install and activate the ZIP.

  4. 04

    Open the Corthex menu, enter the Bot ID, review the service/privacy information, enable floating chat and save.

  5. 05

    Check a public page and send a test message. For store tools, activate WooCommerce and complete Connect to Corthex as well.

03 / Connect securely

What access is needed?

  • WordPress administrator permission to install and configure the plugin.
  • Activation does not contact Corthex. Enabling chat authorizes the external service; full store customer-profile sharing is separately opt-in.
  • Own-order tools require the verified signed-in store customer. Guest email addresses do not grant order access.

Check that the launcher appears on the site and the test conversation appears in Corthex.
