Check your setup before going live
Follow a practical launch checklist covering answers, widget behavior and the human handoff path.
Before you begin
Sign in and use the workspace switcher to select the organisation you want to set up. Keep a small set of real customer questions ready for testing.
Step by step
- 1
Check knowledge and answers
Confirm sources have finished processing. Run at least one exact policy question, an unknown question and a question containing several requirements.
- 2
Check the public face
Set the display name, icon, language and message copy in Appearance. Inspect both the open messenger and collapsed launcher on a narrow screen.
- 3
Check the staff path
Set a staff member online, request a person as a visitor and take over in Inbox. Reply once, then deliberately Resume if the AI should continue.
- 4
Check notifications
Allow browser alerts, enable the relevant categories and use Test speaker on the computer staff actually use.
- 5
Check publishing
Save settings, publish the intended workflows and verify agent assignments. Test from the deployed public website with the real embed snippet.
Good to know
Record the expected answer for each test so later model, prompt and knowledge changes can be compared.
Check the result
Complete a test from your public website and check the resulting conversation in Inbox before inviting customers.
Questions & troubleshooting
A dashboard preview works but the site does not
