Step by step

  1. 1

    Choose content

Use the launcher controls to select a supported icon, text or combination. Make the label clearly invite a conversation.

  2. 2

    Choose colours and placement

Set the button colors and side. Check it does not cover a cart, consent banner or important mobile action.

  3. 3

    Keep the open/close behavior clear

Open the messenger and confirm the close affordance and focus behavior remain understandable.

  4. 4

    Save and test unread replies

Close Chat, send a test staff reply and check that the unread badge and preview are positioned correctly beside the standard floating launcher.

Good to know

Custom/hidden launchers use their configured website controls; the standard floating reply-card stack is not displayed for those layouts.

Check the result

Save the change and reload a page that loads this agent. Check desktop and mobile, including text contrast and the collapsed launcher.
