Step by step

  1. 1

    Review the enabled tabs

Choose which supported hub areas visitors should see. Keep only sections with useful, current content.

  2. 2

    Choose a starting view

Set the default view for the intended journey, such as Home for orientation or Chat for direct support.

  3. 3

    Check content availability

A Help or News tab is useful only when the corresponding content is configured. Ensure names and links match what customers can actually open.

  4. 4

    Test returning visitors

Open an existing conversation from Messages, start a new conversation and check the back/navigation path between the hub and Chat.

Good to know

A closed-widget reply preview opens the conversation directly. Merely opening Home does not mark a current chat reply read.

Check the result

Save the change and reload a page that loads this agent. Check desktop and mobile, including text contrast and the collapsed launcher.

Questions & troubleshooting

A tab is not shown

Check its visibility control and whether the configured content is enabled. Also inspect script-level default-view overrides.
