Step by step

  1. 1

    Create or open the document

Choose a clear title and check you are editing the intended workspace item.

  2. 2

    Structure the content

Use headings, concise paragraphs and links with useful labels. Keep unsupported promises and private credentials out of shared material.

  3. 3

    Save and review

Watch save/conflict feedback, especially when teammates edit at the same time. Reopen the document to verify important changes persisted.

  4. 4

    Choose the intended output

Use available export or deployment controls only after review. Saving a document does not automatically make it a knowledge source or public news item.

Create and review the content that supports your assistants.

The Content workspace is a collaborative place for documents and editorial work. It complements Knowledge: use it to draft and maintain content, then deploy the approved result to the appropriate bot or knowledge flow.

Content workspace is not automatic publishing: a draft is not a verified knowledge source just because it exists in the workspace. Review it and deploy it to the relevant assistant deliberately.

  • Create or open a document: Use the workspace overview to start a document and navigate its collection. The editor keeps the working content focused while the sidebar gives access to related documents and workspace navigation.
  • Write with live collaboration: Presence indicators show who is active in a document. If a simultaneous edit creates a conflict, resolve it in the version-conflict dialog instead of overwriting another editor’s work.
  • Ask for suggestions or review: Use the editor’s suggestion and review tools to improve the selected content. Review proposals before accepting them; generated text should still be checked against your approved business facts.
  • Use news intentionally: Workspace News lets a team prepare content for the widget’s news-oriented experience. Keep time-sensitive updates clear and remove them when they expire.
  • Deploy or export: Use the deployment panel when content is ready for a bot, or export a document when it needs to move to another workflow.

Good to know

If another edit conflicts with yours, preserve your text and resolve the conflict using the displayed controls rather than repeatedly overwriting the document.

Check the result

Review the saved content and its intended publication target. A saved document and customer-visible published news are different states.

Questions & troubleshooting

The agent does not know this document

Check whether it was actually added to the agent’s Knowledge or intended publication target. Workspace writing and retrieval ingestion are different steps.
