Step by step

  1. 1

    Choose a suitable file

Use the attachment picker and follow its current file type and size feedback. Remove unrelated personal data before sending.

  2. 2

    Wait for upload

Check the attachment preview and any error. A selected file is not necessarily uploaded or delivered.

  3. 3

    Review the full reply

Confirm the file belongs to this visitor and explain what it contains. Check names and filenames before sending.

  4. 4

    Verify delivery in the channel

Inspect the resulting timeline and channel feedback. Connected-channel media capabilities can differ from web chat.

Good to know

If an upload fails, do not assume the accompanying text failed too. Check the actual delivery state before retrying and creating duplicates.

Check the result

Check the conversation status and timeline after the action. When testing, use a separate visitor browser so you can see both sides.

Questions & troubleshooting
